Suites by TLOT is an extended-stay motel for those in need of shelter, including, but not limited to individuals experiencing homelessness. The former Apple Valley Motel, located at 5063 Franklin Road in Roanoke, can accommodate approximately 30 people in 19 individual suites. Each room is fully-furnished with a full-size bed,
private bathroom, apartment-size refrigerator, microwave, dresser, television and more.
In addition, TLOT has plans to provide a shuttle service to downtown Roanoke, approximately three days a week, in order to accommodate guests’ transportation needs.
This is not a free housing model. Guests will be required to pay an affordable rental rate (daily/weekly/monthly). For specific rates, click here.
A project of this magnitude, focused on assisting the valley’s unsheltered population, will require a concerted effort from the non-profit, business AND private sector of our community. We are hoping to raise $100,000 in order to assist with financing the start-up and operational costs related to this project.
