TLOT opens its building on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and allows unsheltered friends to take a shower. Soaps, razors, towels, and wash cloths are provided when needed. Showers are cleaned in between each use. Coffee, lunch and refreshments are offered while they wait.

TLOT allows unsheltered friends to wash and dry a load of laundry if needed when the building is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Laundry detergent is provided.

TLOT installed 36 outdoor covered lockers in the parking lot next to its facility so homeless friends can store their personal belongings safely. TLOT also provides combination locks. This service protects their personal belongings from theft, disposal, and weather while they are at work or tending to other personal needs.

Thanks to an amazing donation of a 26-passenger van, TLOT created an innovative way to provide a place of refuge during nights when temperatures are below 40 degrees through the "warming bus." Stocked with blankets and snacks, the warming bus offers warmth, safety, and a place to get some rest in extreme temperatures. Anywhere from 10 to 17 friends took advantage of this service during the 2022 winter season.

TLOT facilitates opportunities for the community to prepare and serve a meal for our unsheltered friends twice a month on Thankful Thursdays. Hosted at the TLOT ministry building, this is an opportunity for the community to join in the mission and directly serve the homeless community. To sign up for a 2022 Thankful Thursday, click here.

TLOT continuously considers other opportunities to improve the quality of life for our unsheltered friends.
For example, TLOT has:
* Provided bus tickets for homeless friends to reunite with their support system in another city or town.
* Supported efforts in receiving medical care by providing transportation and picking up prescriptions.
* Helped procure personal ID cards and get connected with veteran benefits.
