Dining with Dignity: A Meal That Restores Hope!
We would like to invite YOU to partner with us on a powerful initiative—our 6th Annual Dining for Dignity, an upscale dining experience created specifically for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. This event is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at 5 PM and will be hosted in Roanoke’s Elmwood Park! Dining with Dignity goes beyond simply offering a meal! This event focuses on restoring dignity, fostering human connection, and reminding every guest that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Dining with Dignity transcends the traditional "soup kitchen" setting and offers a fine-dining atmosphere, complete with beautiful décor and table settings, thoughtfully prepared multi-course meals and homemade desserts! Our finely dressed waitstaff serve guests with respect and compassion, creating an environment that uplifts their spirits and nourishes their souls as well as their bodies.
To bring this vision to life, we are seeking sponsorships from businesses, organizations, churches and individuals who share our commitment to dignity, compassion, and community. If you would be interested in becoming a sponsor of this event, you can access our Sponsorship Form here.

Hustle for the Homeless 5K

The Hustle for the Homeless 5K is a fundraiser that raises money for The Least of These Ministry which offers support to Roanoke’s homeless community.
“The purpose of the Hustle for the Homeless is two-fold,” says TLOT founder Dawn Sandoval. “The first purpose is to create awareness for the issue of homelessness in the Roanoke Valley. The second is to raise money so we can offer resources to the men and women living on the streets and hopefully help them find affordable housing."
