Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. -Matthew 25:4
MEETING NEEDS
As the mercury falls on the thermometers, our unsheltered friends are in desperate need of cold weather gear such as sleeping bags, coats, gloves and tents!
The ministry building is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays offering our unsheltered friends the opportunity to take showers, do laundry, and have a light lunch. We are continuing to serve approximately 15-20 friends with these services and more each day we are open.
We recently installed 36 lockers on the TLOT premises to allow our unsheltered friends to protect their personal belongings from theft, disposal, and weather while they are at work or tending to other personal needs.

MISSION MOMENTS
Since our last report, we were blessed to help our friend Stanley secure housing. He is a 61 year old who has some serious health issues. He has been unsheltered since February, when his landlord passed away. After his death, the landlord's family decided to sell the property that Stanley was living in. We have seen this story all too often.
It is humbling the difference a day can make! On Thursday, our friend was sleeping in these woods. On Friday, he was blessed with a home of his own! We are grateful for the support this community provides and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others! God is SO good!

26-PASSENGER BLESSING
We were blessed to receive a 26-passenger van as a donation from another local ministry. Will you join us in prayer as we consider the ways in which we could make use of this donation to serve our unsheltered friends?

GIVING TUESDAY
#GivingTuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. It is celebrated every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. After black Friday and cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Will you celebrate with us on November 30?

2022 THANKFUL THURSDAYS
Sign up to prepare and serve a meal for our unsheltered friends in 2022. Thankful Thursday is an opportunity for the community to directly serve the homeless community on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. This is great way for small groups to serve together. Meals should be prepared to serve in a to-go box with proper plastic utensils included as needed. Bottled or canned drinks may also be served. To sign up for a 2022 Thankful Thursday, click here.

The continued support of the TLOT Village in the way of financial donations, purchases from the Amazon Wishlist, donated in kind items, volunteering, and prayer makes it possible for this ministry to make a positive difference for our unsheltered friends in the Roanoke Valley and for His Kingdom.
